Tutorial Tuesday!
I have another group mani today! And incase you noticed, I decided to give up on black background because it’s really too hard to get a good picture with it. :(
Usually I would get my picture in one or two shot, but with black background, it’s endless snaps and still no good photo. So hello white again~
Today’s theme was to do our nails based on a tutorial and so I decided to do one of the tutorial from Robin Moses! Robin Moses is a great nail artist but her nail arts are usually way out of my league. This is probably the only I can do.

I didnt want to do them differently for each hand so I did alternate polka dots and stripds between each nail. My polka dots are quite okay but my stripds are not. How did she get those straight lines!!
Check out the rest of the girl’s who did the challenge here!

Polka Dots Nails (Day 11)
My manicure today for the polka dots theme is actually dots within the dots. Haha.. I have seen this manicure around a few times before so I decided to try it out for myself.
The base colour I used today is Ahoy! from China Glaze’s Anchors Away collection. The Anchors Away collection is one of my favourite collection from China Glaze with many nice & pretty cremes! Ahoy! is actually one of the few shimmer from the collection - a very pretty raspberry pink packed with fine gold micro glitters. This polish applies really smooth and I didnt encounter any trouble with the glitters at all. Application is similar to China Glaze’s Ruby Pumps which so many people love.
As for the Polka dots, the bigger dots are OPI Alpine Snow, and the smaller dots are China Glaze’s First Mate also from the Anchors Away collection. This manicure is really simple to do as well (Frankly speaking, I only do simple nail arts) and really suitable for Halloween! Dont you think the polka dots sort of looks like a many-eyed monster? :)
Anyway, a little side track.. Polish Alley had been launched for 10 days already, I’m so grateful for everyone’s support. I have added a ‘Like’ box to our facebook page at the sidebar, please help to help our facebook page if you haven’t done so. We need more fans for our page! Many thanks in advance!
