Gorgeous super duper holographic gold holo!

Welcome to today’s Stamping Sunday! For today’s challenge, we’re supposed to do Circles or Dots and I did some Holo circle stamping!

I actually took alot of pictures today as I couldn’t see the holo-ness in my small camera screen and thought the camera couldn’t capture, but it did!
I had to choose through the twenty over pictures and finally selected 5 pictures to post here! :)

For the base, I used BK holographic polish number 9 which is a beautiful aqueous blue! BK holo polishes are pretty affordable considering that they are 15ml compared to HITS which are only 6ml.
BK Holo no. 9 isnt very opaque though.. For the base, I used 3 coats to achieve this effect, but I guess you can get away with 2 especially if you are going to stamp over it.

For the stamping, I used China Glaze Electra Magenta - one of the China Glaze Limited Edition polish from their Tronica collection - with Bundle monster plate BM-19.
Thinking that the Holo-ness wasnt captured on camera, I decided to try the finger poses that Chalkboard Nails do.. and the effect was great!

So what do you think? Is it better with bottle or without?

Holo Hump Day!
Today is another group mani day! Apparently Wednesday is also called Hump day because it’s the middle of the week (I didnt know that).. LOL.. So today we have Holo Hump Day!
Obviously.. if you have not noticed, today we are supposed to do holo nails! I really love Holo polishes (who doesnt?) but it’s a real pity that they’re always so expensive! :( Please make holo polishes more affordable! I need more of them in my life!
I chose Nfu oh #66 today, one of my un-used, and it’s simply gorgeous! It’s so holo that it’s even visible indoors! Mad Love! One thing to note though.. Aqua Base! Very very important! I have them, but forgot to use it when I was applying the holo polish and gosh! So many bald spots! It’s a total nightmare!
I used 2 coats of Seche Vite here due to the stamping (Konad plate m83 with Color Club Revvvolution), so the holo-ness is already significantly dimmed.. Is there any top coat that doesn’t dim the effects of Holo polishes?

I have something exciting to share today! This is really my latest most favourite thing now! Today I’m going to share about.. tadah! Nail Polish Rings!
Nail polish rings are essentially handmade rings made using glass cabochons and of course, nail polishes! They are really unique and the possibilities are endless!

I have wanted to make these jewelries for quite some time already but I couldnt get the materials I want locally so this project was delayed for quite a while. I also wanted to get a ring setting that will protect the nail polish as we all know, nail polish chips even with top coat so I really wanted to get a ring setting that seals everything in.
I cant wait to share what I have done so far! These patterns/designs are all thought up by me! All of them are layering polishes so far, using about 2-3 different polishes layered to create these effects. I really love them to bits!

This is my 1st polish ring, created based on criteria listed by my BFF! Glass is not glued yet so dont mind the empty space there.

<3

Blurred to show the glitter awesome-ness~!

For this I wanted to create something Merry Midnight/Fowl Play like. The colour is actually more purple than blue in real life.

Like the galaxy~~~ <3!!

This is another one based on another of my BFF’s criteria, but there will be something more for her’s which I will not say what yet. Can you see the flakies in it?!

The white frost on the glass is just light reflected from the lamp. Not present in actual ring.

Blurred to show the burst of colors!

This 1.. I think I was inspired by some rings I saw online. haha! Photo doesnt do it justice!

Blurred to show.. Holo glitters! See! I told you the above photos doesnt do it justice!
For girls located in Singapore, these rings are currently been sold now on Polishalley.wordpress.com!
Each ring is S$6 each including free normal postage. They are all 17mm in diameter and with copper ring setting & adjustable ring sizes! You might want to measure your finger and see if you can accept the size cos some people might find it too small.
These rings are splash-proof but not recommended for you wear in the shower or to swimming!
I simply love make these.. definitely going to make more! Do you like them like I do?!

China Glaze Liquid Crystal
Today I’m showing you guys one of the new glitters from the latest China Glaze Prismatic collection! What’s really unique about this polish, is that it’s actually a duochrome as well!
Liquid Crystal is dense packed with beautiful blue holo-y micro glitters and slightly bigger blue, silver, orange, and pink glitters - and colour Shifts from blue to purple depending on the light! Doesn’t it look simply awesome?
The thing is I didnt actually know that the Prismatics are duochromes before I got them so this is really a nice surprise!
Definitely recommended! Beautiful & affordable too! ^_^

Make Up Store Britta
Sorry for the short hiatus from posting as I had just came back from a 8 days trip to Taiwan! I initially thought I could blog during the trip but I was simply too tired everyday when I’m back in the hotel so I didnt manage to blog in the end.
Today’s post is on Make Up Store Britta, it’s a very pretty pink Holo, full of awesome-ness! Seriously, Make Up Store makes some of the best holo ever. The holo-ness shines through even when there’s only a little light! Super super gorgeous! It’s a tad expensive though, definitely a must-get if you can afford it!
*Btw, the bottle I’m holding is the Make Up Store Aqua Fix, which is the recommended base coat for Make Up Store Holo Polishes. Heard that it works well for Nfu Oh Holo polishes as well!

SpectraFlair Top Coat
Does this polish look like some expensive holographic polish? It’s actually just China Glaze First Mate with a coat of Spectraflair top coat!
I finally used my SF top coat after eons since I got it!
It’s not bad, although I think mine might have a little to much Spectraflair in it.. Maybe next time I’ll try shaking it less so that it’s less well mixed and the results might be better! :)
