Tutorial Tuesday!
I have another group mani today! And incase you noticed, I decided to give up on black background because it’s really too hard to get a good picture with it. :(
Usually I would get my picture in one or two shot, but with black background, it’s endless snaps and still no good photo. So hello white again~
Today’s theme was to do our nails based on a tutorial and so I decided to do one of the tutorial from Robin Moses! Robin Moses is a great nail artist but her nail arts are usually way out of my league. This is probably the only I can do.
I didnt want to do them differently for each hand so I did alternate polka dots and stripds between each nail. My polka dots are quite okay but my stripds are not. How did she get those straight lines!!
Check out the rest of the girl’s who did the challenge here!

Double Tips
Felt like doing something with Easter feel since it’s around the corner but didn’t really want to do something complicated so I decided to just go with some pastel colours.
Double french tips in the prettiest baby blue (Essie Borrowed & Blue) with OPI Planks Alot & acrylic ribbon on pointer finger. It’s a little weird to have my pointer finger as the accent finger, but I forgot about wanting to have an accent finger again & painted all the other fingers already. Oh well..

Inspired By A Tutorial (Day 30)
My nails for today’s theme, ‘Inspired By A Tutorial’ is actually inspired by Chalkboard nails’ post when she was also doing the same challenge!
This set of Owl nails is really too cute to not do it! Up till now, I’ve probably used the most number of different polishes for this set of nails!
Hope you’ll like these cute little owls too!

The movie that inspired my nails today is “Marley and Me” starred by Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston.
“Marley and Me” is a very heart warming and funny movie about a couple having the worst dog in the world, which is Marley, and the many funny things he did growing from a puppy to a full grown adult Labrador to finally when he passed away. The movie also covers how the couple’s life changed after having Marley, and with Owen’s and Jennifer’s excellent acting, this movie quickly became one of my favourite!

The base colour that I have chosen for this manicure is Milani 3D because Marley is a golden Labrador thus I thought a gold base would be perfect for this. For the paw paints, I used black acrylic paint and a medium sized dotting tool to dot 3 connecting dots together, and 4 small dots around it. It’s actually really easy!
If you have not watched this movie, I recommend you go and do it especially if you like dogs! I guarantee you’ll get a good laugh out of it!
