Re-create Your Favourite Challenge (Day 31) Wow, about time I blogged cos I actually did this set of nails during the weekend and it’s already Wednesday now!  For the Re-create my favourite challenge day, I have decided to do the Animal Print challenge with Leopard print nails! I really liked this set of nails because of the colours used.. They are really soft and feminine colours, makes me feel really pretty! Sorry for the really short post.. I had been really busy as the Chinese New Year is around the corner! Lots to things to buy and spring clean! I will try to update more often next time! One thing to note though. Wow, about time I blogged cos I actually did this set of nails during the weekend and it’s already Wednesday now! 

For the Re-create my favourite challenge day, I have decided to do the Animal Print challenge with Leopard print nails!

I really liked this set of nails because of the colours used.. They are really soft and feminine colours, makes me feel really pretty!

Sorry for the really short post.. I had been really busy as the Chinese New Year is around the corner! Lots to things to buy and spring clean! I will try to update more often next time!

One thing to note though. I have finally finished my challenge! Gosh! I took like more than 3 months? LOL.. That’s super long!

Inspired By The Supernatural (Day 29) Today for my nails inspired by the supernatural, I have decided to do UFO nails!  For the base, I used OPI DS Mystery, which is also the same polish which I had used for my Galaxy nails. This is a dark purplish polish packed with gold micro shimmers which really looks like the galaxy sky! As for the UFOs, I used OPI Alpine snow to draw a little oval for the UFO glass thingy and used silver, blue and coral polishes to draw out the body of the UFOs. Do you like my UFO nails? Inspired By The Supernatural (Day 29)

Today for my nails inspired by the supernatural, I have decided to do UFO nails!

Inspired By A Flag (Day 28)

For today’s theme ‘Inspired By A Flag’, I’ve decided to do a different flag! Can you tell what I did? Haha! It’s Luffy’s pirate flag from the comic ‘One Piece’!

For the flag, I did a simplified version on my ring based on the below image!

As for the rest of my fingers, I painted Picture Polish Festival over OPI Black Onyx as I really liked it the last time I used it!

Inspired By Artwork (Day 27) Woohoo! I’m at day 27 already! This is almost done!  My mani today for day 27 is nails inspired by Piet Mondrain’s artwork! If you don’t know who Piet Mondrain is, do a quick Google like I did, cos I didnt know as well until Susan told me. LOL.. Anyway I’m glad she told me about him because I have very little knowledge in the arts and would probably kill myself thinking of an artwork for this challenge! This mani is really simple to do, it is inspired by Piet Mondrain’s signature artworks (I guess, from all the Google images that came up). All I did was to paint lines using a black stripper, and fill in some of the squares with acrylic paint. Simple yet pretty!  Polishes Used: OPI Alpine Snow Color Club Black Stripper

Inspired By A Pattern (Day 26) Okay, first I need to say.. The reason why I have corset nails on today when the theme is Pattern, is because I got totally mixed up and thought the theme was fashion! I even got really frustrated and almost gave up on the challenge because I really don’t know what to do for the theme! :( I had to do a lot of googling and a few failed manicure before getting this and then found out that I did my nails for the wrong theme! My life pretty suxs today. I’m going to post this up anyway and skip over the pattern theme cos I really don’t want to do this again. Sorry, just treat it as a corset pattern? Inspired By Fashion (Day 25) Hi everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your Christmas so far, I definitely am.. Received the most wonderful Christmas presents this year! Anyway, the manicure I’m doing today is checkered print for Fashion! I thought checkered print would be really easy to do, but I was wrong! Got 2 failed mani before I finally found this design in a new nail mag that I bought!

The colours that I used for this mani are all my classics and frequently used! I know I’ve said that I will try to use my untries for this challenge, but I always find the same few colours most suitable for nail art and my untries just keeps getting more!

Inspired By A Book (Day 24)

Can you tell which book inspired my nails today? It’s ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’! If you have not seen this book before, it’s actually half a comic book which is supposed to be a diary of a kid named Greg. 

I used a notebook design for my nails as the pages of Greg’s dairy and a portrait of Greg as an accent nail. Greg is actually drawn by my friend as she is way better at drawing than me. Looks really good doesn’t it?!

I’m really satisfied with this set of nails as it portrayed the book so well. Anybody who had read or know about this book would be able to recognize it straight away! So so cute! I simply adore this one!
