Glow in the Dark Polishes
Today I’m going to swatch 2 of the polishes which I bought in my haul yesterday - China Glaze Ghoulish Glow and OPI Zom-body To Love. These are from the new halloween collection from both brands which I know are not available in some countries yet, I guess it’s some sort of ‘preview’ for some of you.

Turn off the lights..

OOOOOOooooooo!!!!!
Ghoulish Glow seems to glow much brighter than Zom-body to Love in the bottle.

(L to R) OPI Zom-body to Love, China Glaze Ghoulish (Both swatches are 1 coat over a coat of OPI Alpine Snow)
As you can see, Zom-body to Love applies green so it might be limited in what kinds of color you can apply it over, but Ghoulish Glow seems almost completely transparent so you might be able to apply it over any base color you want.

Although Ghoulish Glow was brighter in the bottle, they both seems pretty equal when applied on the wheel.
One thing to note is that the glow in the dark polishes need to be ‘charged’. You have to expose them to (preferably) bright light before they would glow.
I did a test to see if they would still glow if applied over a dark base colour and so I applied one coat of each over OPI Black Onyx. Well, the verdict is - they do glow, but it’s so faint that it’s almost equal to nothing. No picture for this because my camera cant capture the super dim glow and it just shows pitch black.
All in all, Glow in the dark polishes is definitely a much have for this halloween in my opinion. Hope you enjoyed this post!
